Resumo
Objetivo: Avaliar a eficácia da auriculoterapia para o tratamento da dor. Métodos: Este trabalho trata-se de uma revisão integrativa que avalia a eficácia da auriculoterapia no tratamento da dor e correlaciona essa técnica como alternativa ao uso de fármacos. A busca foi realizada por meio dos descritores em saúde “AURICULOTERAPIA” e “DOR”, nas línguas portuguesa, inglesa e espanhola, na base de dados, Medical Literature Analysis and Retrieval System on-line (PUBMED), uma vez que esta base permite buscas simultâneas nas principais fontes nacionais e internacionais. Resultados: Foram incluídos dezessete artigos científicos para a análise integrativa, sendo 16% avaliando a auriculoterapia em conjunto com outros métodos farmacológicos. Todos os artigos mostram o benefício da auriculoterapia na redução da dor, em especial durante o trabalho de parto (20%). Considerações Finais: Foi possível evidenciar que a auriculoterapia é uma boa alternativa não farmacológica para o tratamento de diversos tipos de dores, observada pelo sucesso na quantidade de estudos randomizados.
