Resumo
Objetivo: Analisar comparativamente as intercorrências imediatas/precoces e tardias associadas aos preenchedores dérmicos, à toxina botulínica tipo A e aos fios de sustentação empregados na harmonização orofacial. Revisão bibliográfica: A classificação temporal auxilia o raciocínio clínico, mas deve ser interpretada em conjunto com o produto utilizado, o mecanismo provável e a evolução dos sinais. Nos preenchedores, destacam-se reações locais autolimitadas, oclusão vascular, comprometimento visual, nódulos, edema tardio recorrente, granulomas e alterações relacionadas ao posicionamento do material. Na toxina botulínica tipo A, predominam efeitos associados à dose, à difusão e à ação neuromuscular, enquanto, nos fios de sustentação, somam-se fatores mecânicos ligados à inserção, tração e fixação. Considerações finais: A diferenciação entre intercorrências esperadas e complicações de maior gravidade depende de avaliação clínica integrada, documentação adequada, seguimento e preparação para emergências. A principal contribuição desta revisão é organizar a tomada de decisão a partir da relação entre cronologia, mecanismo, produto e sinais de alarme.
