Abstract

Objective: To elucidate what the literature reveals about the quality of life of nurses working in the Primary Health Care network. Methods: This is an integrative literature review. The inclusion criteria were articles that described the quality of life of nurses working in Primary Health Care, studies in Portuguese, English, and Spanish in the last 10 years. As exclusion criteria, literature reviews and studies that do not refer to Primary Care nurses were excluded from the search. Results: After searching PubMed (329), Scielo (185), Web of Science (7,161), Acervo+ Index base (1) and removing duplicates (973), 6,702 studies were identified. After screening the title and abstract, the studies that fit the inclusion items were 21, these were read in full. Final considerations: Most studies suggest that nurses have expanded conceptions about quality of life and, for the most part, are dissatisfied with them. However, there are few studies that verify the quality of life in the general scope involving the self-care of nurses in Primary Health Care.
