Abstract
Objective: Reflect on sexual violence and adolescents, focusing on the role of nurses in their professional practice and in the school environment. Experience report: The study was based on the experience of students in the 9th period of the nursing course at a private Higher Education Institution located in the Midwest region, in the mandatory internship in Primary Care. The activity took place in a Public Educational Teaching Center, a place that serves high school and elementary school students. The actions were part of the School Health Program (PSE), which are fundamental in the teaching plan, with the aim of integrating education with those of public health. Nursing consultations were carried out with adolescents of both sexes between 14 and 19 years old through a form on the main needs of adolescents, such as eating and hygiene habits, in addition to the main risk factors such as sexual violence. Final considerations: Educators take a leading role in health actions and in the fight against sexual violence in adolescence, proposing basic strategies for interventions to promote holistic health, recognizing a complexity of vulnerability factors in the implementation of education programs to combat this crime.
