Abstract

Objective: To assess factors associated with levels of depression, anxiety and stress in Primary Health Care professionals, in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. Methods: To map the triad, we used the Depression, Anxiety and Stress Scale and a data collection instrument that contained sociodemographic and clinical variables of the participants. Data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics, using the Shapiro-Wilk, Mann-Whitney, Kruskal-Wallis and Spearman tests, with a significance level of 5%. Results: Of the 162 participants, 11,7% had moderate or higher levels of depression, anxiety and stress; 26,5% had moderate or higher anxiety; 19,8% expressed moderate or greater stress; 17,3% manifested moderate or greater depression. Female sex, lower family income, lower level of education, previous diagnoses of anxiety, depression and/or Burnout, non-exercise, use of anxiolytic and/or antidepressant medications, and psychological and/or psychiatric follow-up were associated with higher levels. of depression, anxiety and/or stress. Conclusion: Primary Health Care professionals had their mental health affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, pointing to the need for actions aimed at promoting their mental health.
