Abstract
Objective: To elucidate the impact on the physical and mental health of individuals with Post-Covid Syndrome. Bibliographical Review: Ongoing studies on Post-Covid complications point to Post-Covid Syndrome, which affects physical, cognitive and psychiatric functions, impacting Activities of Daily Living (ADL). The main consequences include physical disability, pain and loss of vitality, limiting daily life. Such components have considerably affected people's relatively normal lives, restricting their activities from what were previously not limited, and have now become. Social distancing worsens this situation, interfering with personal, professional and social relationships. Variants of SARS-CoV-2, such as Delta and Ômicron, have also been shown to influence the severity and duration of post-infection symptoms. Therefore, this study is relevant to expand the healthcare team's approach to these patients. Final considerations: Despite advances, uncertainty still persists about the consequences of this condition. Future research is crucial to better understand the pathophysiology of post-COVID syndrome, allowing the development of more effective interventions.
