Abstract
Objective: To evaluate the satisfaction and feelings of nursing technicians at a reference hospital in Northwest Ceará. Methods: A cross-sectional study, using a quantitative approach, was conducted with 282 nursing technicians from a regional reference hospital in Northwest Ceará, encompassing items related to job satisfaction, and analyzed using descriptive statistics. Results: The results indicated that most professionals reported positive relationships with colleagues and superiors, highlighting cordial and respectful treatment (85.5%) and the perception of trust and support from superiors (85.5%). However, critical aspects were identified, such as a limited sense of protection against violence in the workplace (55.7%) and insufficient institutional assistance in situations of illness (50%). Conclusion: Although the work environment presents favorable interpersonal interactions, structural and organizational challenges negatively impact the safety and well-being of nursing technicians. These findings reinforce the need for institutional measures that promote greater protection, emotional support, and improvements in working conditions for these professionals.
