Abstract

Objective: To describe the sociodemographic and epidemiological profile of women with cervical cancer at a CACON in the state of Pará, Brazil. Methods: This is a descriptive and observational epidemiological study, developed from secondary data obtained from DATASUS and Hospital Cancer Registries. Women with cervical cancer treated at the Ophir Loyola Hospital were included. The assessments included municipality of origin, age group, and oncological staging in the period from 2020 to 2025, as well as education level, race/color, marital status, and occupation in the period from 2020 to 2023. Results: In the period from 2020 to 2025, 2,218 cases of cervical cancer were reported, with women from the Guajará integration region, aged 40 to 49 years, and with oncological stage II. Between 2020 and 2023, 1,332 cases were registered, encompassing women of mixed race/color, with low levels of education, single, and working as domestic servants. Conclusion: Therefore, a high occurrence of neoplasia was proven, highlighting the importance of further epidemiological studies that help address the current scenario and increase the visibility of women's health care through effective public policies.
