Abstract
Objective: To describe the construction of a project of medical education developed by students of the FELLOWS project in the Primary Health Care. Experience report: The agenda was organized with four meetings at the first immersion, remote activities and a presentation in the second immersion. A module of practical activities was proposed for 18 weeks per semester, four hours a week, with the objective of allowing the student to exercise abilities and reflect on their attitude and ethical issues regarding the medical/patient relationship; identify risk factors beyond the patient’s primary complaint; understand the pathophysiology and the epidemiology of the primary chronic diseases that reach the Brazilian population; understand the complexity levels of health care and how they integrate, the primary health care public policies and the importance of the Family Health Strategy in promoting health and disease prevention. The teaching and assistance method proposed was student-centered teaching and patient-centered care. Final considerations: The construction of the project allowed students to live the different professor’s roles and understand the path to build a curriculum to attend the planned needs.
