Data collection was carried out through semi-structured interviews. For the analysis of the interviews, the technique of Content Analysis was used in the Thematic Analysis modality. Results: From the analysis of the content of the interviews, four categories emerged: Development of educational actions from the perspective of nurses / Planning of educational actions by nurses / Methodologies used in educational practices / Potentials and weaknesses in the execution of Educational Actions in Health. Conclusion: Health education is a tool used by nurses to assist in disease prevention, with methodologies based on the transmission of knowledge, in order to favor changes in the behavior of the individual and / or the population. It is necessary for managers to guarantee conditions for carrying out educational activities in the ESF through the provision of material resources, investment in the physical structure of the health units and to promote permanent education actions for the ESF nurses.
