Details of the case: Patient, MFC, 69 years old, female. The daughter reports that two years ago, during lunch, the patient had an episode of peripheral paralysis on the right and lethargy. Because she considered it a momentary occurrence, she did not immediately seek medical attention. One week later, the patient experienced an episode of emesis, evacuation, diuresis and prostration. Given this, the daughter took her to the hospital, where after medical evaluation she was medicated, she was under observation for 12 hours and was discharged. At home, the patient started a gradual evolution of cognitive deficit, evidenced by aphasia, lethargy and difficulty walking. After a history of hospital admissions, the patient started a care plan proposed by the multidisciplinary team of the Best at Home Program.
