Abstract
Objective: To investigate the scientific evidence on the technologies that have been developed to assist patients with wounds. Methods: This is an integrative review with the aim of finding out which technologies can help promote health and guide patients with skin lesions. The searches were carried out from December 2022 to March 2023 in the online databases: Latin American and Caribbean Literature in Health Sciences (LILACS), Medical Literature Analysis and Retrieval System Online (MEDLINE), Web of Science, SCOPUS, and the health library Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO) and used as inclusion criteria articles that were available in Portuguese, English and Spanish, dated in the last five years and that addressed the topic. Results: The final sample of this review consisted of 10 scientific articles, which explicitly addressed the care-educational technologies used to assist in the care and health promotion of patients with skin lesions. Final considerations: It is considered that the studies proved to be innovative, complete and objective through the categorizations of TCEs that had the greatest impact on the application, booklet and educational video that were applied according to the characteristics of the target audience.
