It was found that 72 % were using some continuous medication ; 58 % had a chronic illness and had, on average , 8 years and 5 months ( SD = 95.65 ) and 75 % had no acute illnesses manifested at the time of care . It was observed that 65 % users have sought medical care at a UBS / PSF before going to the emergency room ; 32 % of users were the emergency department complaining of body aches ; 54 % attendance waited for less than 15 minutes; 74 % considered the emergency room the ideal spot for your treatment and 54 % rated the service as good. It was concluded that the epidemiological profile of users is not consistent with the characteristics of emergency department care.
