Análise dos tipos de injúrias traumáticas na dentição decídua: revisão narrativa

Resumo
Objetivo: Revisar os tipos de lesões traumáticas na dentição decídua e avaliar a prevalência de variáveis em casos de trauma dentário. Revisão bibliográfica: Quanto mais cedo ocorre o trauma, maior a probabilidade de envolvimento do dente sucessor, devido ao estágio inicial de formação em que o germe dental está. O impacto negativo gerado pelo trauma dentário na qualidade de vida das crianças é de grande relevância, a conduta e tratamento adequados também são extremamente importantes. O tratamento imediato proposto pela maior parte da literatura é o reposicionamento espontâneo, que geralmente ocorre dentro de 6 meses, ou nos casos em que se encontra interferência oclusal, recomenda-se reposicionamento ativo ou digital e esplintagem, exceto quando o dente está em estágio avançado de esfoliação. Considerações finais: Verificou-se que o prognóstico está vinculado à gestão no local onde ocorreu o trauma e ao acompanhamento do caso, de modo a manter a integridade do dente.
