Acesso online à informação de saúde por idosos e o envelhecimento saudável

Resumo
Objetivo: Identificar na produção científica o uso de informações online por idosos enquanto meio de promoção da saúde e envelhecimento saudável. Métodos: Revisão integrativa, realizada nas bases American Psychological Association, Cumulative Index of Nursing and Allied Health, Cochrane, Embase, MEDLINE/PubMed, Scopus, Web of Science, Base de Dados de Enfermagem e Literatura Latino-Americana e do Caribe em Ciências da Saúde e no mecanismo de busca do Google Scholar. Os estudos foram analisados de maneira descritiva. Resultados: Foram encontradas 5.897 publicações que originaram a amostra de 10 artigos analisados criticamente em três dimensões relacionadas às características demográficas e socioculturais dos idosos; os recursos tecnológicos utilizados para acesso online e; necessidade de capacitação de profissionais para auxiliar o idoso no processo de busca de informação de saúde online. Considerações finais: O idoso pode estar se inserindo no mundo digital acessando a internet principalmente por meio do smartphone e, com relação à busca de informações online de saúde, há necessidade de mediação profissional e desenvolvimento de estratégias para promover o envelhecimento saudável. Este estudo contribuiu para uma reflexão sobre o alinhamento entre idosos e profissionais de saúde, ao crescente acesso às tecnologias, fortalecendo a prática do autocuidado para o processo de envelhecimento saudável.
