Os efeitos dos canabinoides e seu uso no tratamento da fibromialgia

Resumo
Objetivo: Evidenciar novos tratamentos para a fibromialgia e, portanto, enfatizar uso da cannabis como agente medicamentoso para essa patologia. Métodos: Esse trabalho é uma revisão integrativa da literatura em que foram selecionados artigos nas bases de dados National Library of Medicine, Biblioteca Virtual de saúde e EBSCOHOST, por meio dos Descritores em Ciências da Saúde: Fibromialgia AND Cannabidiol com o intuito de responder: Na terapêutica da fibromialgia, os canabinoides podem ser considerados? Resultados: De acordo com os 15 artigos finais selecionados para a composição do artigo, 64,3% caracterizaram diretamente o uso dos canabinoides para o tratamento da fibromialgia. Logo, os canabinoides se apresentaram como um possível tratamento para as crises álgicas, além de outros sintomas relacionados com a patologia. Entretanto, o uso dessas medicações necessita de acompanhamento para uma melhor eficácia. Considerações finais: O uso dos canabinoides pode ser um grande aliado para a composição do tratamento tradicional da fibromialgia e, consigo melhorar o arsenal disponível para esse tratamento.
