Narcisismo materno e os impactos negativos para os filhos

Resumo
Objetivo: Revisar sobre o narcisismo materno e seus impactos negativos para os filhos. Métodos: Conduzimos uma revisão integrativa de setembro de 2022 a fevereiro de 2023, focada no narcisismo materno, em bases como SciELO, PubMed e Periódico Capes. Após seleção e análise, oito estudos foram identificados. Resultados: Os autores analisados apresentam perspectivas e conceitos diversos, demonstrando a complexidade em delimitar as causas e consequências do narcisismo para a mãe e o filho no nível individual e sociocultural. Além disso, foram discutidos fatores de risco e patologias (psicológicas e físicas) decorrentes do narcisismo materno em crianças (curto prazo), adolescentes (médio prazo) e adultos (longo prazo). Considerações finais: Este estudo lança luz sobre a complexidade do narcisismo materno, sublinhando que fatores individuais e socioculturais, bem como mudanças na sociedade, têm um papel crucial no aumento desta condição. A necessidade de uma maior conscientização em saúde mental, a promoção de práticas parentais saudáveis e a importância de estratégias de enfrentamento eficazes são ressaltadas. No entanto, as limitações deste estudo incluem a necessidade de mais pesquisas para aprofundar a compreensão dos vínculos entre estilos parentais, narcisismo e saúde mental.
