Qualidade de vida dos farmacêuticos hospitalares brasileiros durante a pandemia da COVID-19

Resumo

Objetivo: Avaliar a qualidade de vida dos farmacêuticos hospitalares brasileiros, dois anos após início da pandemia, e caracterizar os fatores associados. Métodos: Estudo transversal, com participação de 237 farmacêuticos. Utilizou-se um questionário validado junto ao Professional Quality of Life Scale, que avalia Satisfação por Compaixão (SC), Fadiga por Compaixão (FC) e Burnout (BO). Utilizou-se teste T e ANOVA, para comparação de grupos; Bootstrapping para correção da normalidade; testes de Kolmogorov-Smirnov e Shapiro-Wilk para verificar normalidade da distribuição. Resultados: A maioria dos entrevistados apresentaram moderado ou alto índice de SC (71,3%), BO (78,9%) e FC (72,2%). O sexo feminino apresentou maiores valores para FC (d = 0,45); farmacêuticos entre 40-49 anos demonstraram menores valores para BO do que farmacêuticos entre 20-29 anos [(ΔM = -0,74; IC 95% Bca (-1,15 – -0,35)] e entre 30-39 anos [(ΔM = 0,49; IC 95% Bca (-0,87 – -0,16)]; profissionais que trabalham mais de 44 horas/ semana apresentaram maiores valores para BO do que profissionais que trabalham até 36 horas [(ΔM = 0,54; IC 95% Bca (0,14 – 0,95)]. Conclusão: Os farmacêuticos relataram níveis moderados de BO, FC e SC. Identificou-se como fatores associados ao BO e FC o gênero, estado civil, faixa etária e carga horária de trabalho.
