Transgeneridade na infância

Resumo
Objetivo: Identificar como a transgeneridade na infância é abordada nas produções cientificas. Métodos: Revisão integrativa realizada em três fontes indexadas: Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde (BVS), Scientific Eletronic Library Online (SCIELO) e National Library of Medicine National Institute Medicine of Health dos EUA (NIH via PubMed), com filtros relacionados a base de dados MedLine. Utilizou-se como descritores: “criança”, “identidade de gênero”, nos idiomas português, inglês e espanhol. Os dados foram analisados com auxílio do software Nvivo. Resultados: Foram selecionados 12 artigos organizados em duas categorias temáticas: Autoconhecimento da experiência da transgeneridade na infância; e Interação da criança trans com a sociedade. Considerações finais: Os estudos desta revisão abordaram majoritariamente os aspectos psicossociais relativos à temática da transgeneridade na infância, o que representa uma perspectiva distinta das pesquisas sobre adultos trans. Evidencia-se a relevância de discutir e incluir a temática da transgeneridade para fortalecer as práticas de cuidado e acolhimento à criança trans e seus familiares.
