Epidemiological profile of high-risk pregnant women in the Amazonasn: an investigation from 2021 to 2022

Abstract
Objective: To analyze the epidemiological profile of high-risk pregnant women in outpatient care in Amazonas from 2021 to 2022, using data collected via DATASUS. Methods: This is a retrospective, quantitative, ecological study whose data collection was carried out through the SIH/DATASUS (Hospital Information System/Informatics Department of the Unified Health System) with a time frame of 2021 and 2022. Therefore, the increase in visits to high-risk pregnant women in Amazonas highlights the importance of specialized care during pregnancy. Conclusion: Identifying risks, analyzing profiles and treating diseases are essential to reduce complications, in addition to which, preventive strategies and personalized follow-up are essential for maternal and fetal well-being, ensuring better health outcomes.
