Comportamento sexual de risco entre adolescentes escolares do Piauí: prevalência e fatores associados

Resumo

Objetivo: Analisar o comportamento sexual de risco (CSR) entre adolescentes escolares do Piauí, caracterizando a prevalência e os fatores associados. Métodos: Estudo transversal, com dados secundários da Pesquisa Nacional de Saúde do Escolar, edição 2019. Foram coletadas variáveis sociodemográficas, comportamentais, de saúde sexual e de sociabilidade, além da autoimagem corporal. Considerou-se como CSR o não uso de preservativo na última relação sexual. Empregou-se regressão logística múltipla, com cálculo de odds ratio ajustada (ORaj) e intervalos de confiança de 95% (IC95%). Resultados: A prevalência de CSR foi de 41,0%. Houve associação do CSR com o sexo masculino (ORaj=1,27; IC95% 1,05;1,48), uso de álcool (ORaj=2,24; IC95% 2,13;2,54), cigarro (ORaj=1,70; IC95% 1,56;1,97), drogas ilícitas (ORaj=1,45; IC95% 1,18;1,86), satisfação em relação ao próprio corpo (ORaj=1,47; IC95% 1,08;1,65), não uso de preservativo na primeira relação (ORaj=11,45; IC95% 8,97;16,4) e autopercepção do corpo como gordo (ORaj=0,75; IC95% 0,57;0,96). Conclusão: A prevalência do CSR foi elevada, tendo sido associado com fatores demográficos, comportamentais e de saúde sexual do adolescente. Os dados demonstram a necessidade de intervenções na promoção da saúde entre adolescentes a partir de abordagem multifatorial para prevenir comportamentos de risco entre os jovens.
