Importância de competências no profissionalismo do preceptor

Resumo

Objetivo: Analisar e compreender sobre a competências do preceptor, baseados na atuação pedagógica voltada para o desenvolvimento de competências clínicas. Métodos: Foi realizada uma pesquisa na base de dados PubMed/MEDLINE, diretamente com estratégia de busca, por meio da combinação de descritores e operadores booleanos ("Preceptorship” [Mesh]) AND ("Clinical Competence” [Mesh]) utilizados como expressão de busca e com aplicação de filtros, no período de 2018 a 2023. Resultados: Obteve-se uma lista com 1.493 artigos e com a aplicação do primeiro critério de exclusão restaram 173 artigos que continham informações sobre o tema, mas somente 28 foram selecionados para análise. As categorias de destaque descreveram a relação pedagógica entre preceptor-aluno, conceitos e características da preceptoria e do trabalho do preceptor, como facilitadoras ao desenvolvimento de conhecimento, no ambiente institucional e capazes de fornecerem maiores subsídios ao aprendizado clínico, por meio de projetos pedagógicos voltados ao ensino da prática-clínica. Os artigos selecionados apareceram em diferentes partes do mundo, mas com maior destaque para países como Brasil, EUA e África do Sul. Considerações finais: A atuação do preceptor confirma a necessidade que a preceptoria exige conhecimento, pautado na pedagogia para aprendizagem e contribui no profissionalismo para as relações de trabalho.
