Síndrome de Takotsubo e vacinas contra COVID-19

Resumo

Objetivo: Reunir e analisar evidências para entender e correlacionar a influência da síndrome de Takotsubo (TTS) induzida pela vacinação contra a Covid-19. Métodos: Revisão integrativa incluindo artigos publicados entre 2021 e 2024 e selecionados através de acesso a plataformas de publicação científica como Scielo, BVS, PubMed e Elsevier. Foram utilizados os descritores Covid Vaccine e Takotsubo Syndrome. Foram excluídos os artigos que pertenciam à tipologia carta ao editor, opinião de especialista, resposta à opinião, resenhas, capítulos de livro, relatos de casos isolados. Resultados: 13 artigos foram incluídos, dos quais 12 artigos encontraram associação entre a vacinação contra a Covid-19 e a TTS. Existe maior incidência desta complicação produzida pela a vacina de RNA mensageiro (RNAm) em comparação às outras vacinas. Os sintomas mais prevalentes na TTS induzida pela vacinação incluem dor torácica, febre, tosse, dispneia, náuseas e sintomas digestivos. Se evidenciou as alterações eletrocardiográficas (elevação do segmento ST e inversão da onda T) e elevação dos marcadores cardíacos (troponina, CK-MB e NT-proBNP). Os exames de imagem mostraram opacidades em vidro fosco, consolidação pulmonar e aumento da silhueta cardíaca. Considerações finais: É fundamental monitorar os efeitos das vacinas contra a Covid-19 para desenvolver estratégias de prevenção e manejo eficazes.
