Resumo

Objetivo: Desenvolver jogos computadorizados para treinar o equilíbrio postural em idosos, abordando movimentação laterolateral, anteroposterior e combinação de ambos, usando uma plataforma de força inclinada para interação. Métodos: Este estudo desenvolveu três jogos que foram controlados por uma plataforma de força biaxial para treinar o equilíbrio em idosos. Cada jogo enfoca movimentos específicos sendo laterolateral, anteroposterior e uma combinação de ambos. A plataforma permite interação com o jogo através do deslocamento da pressão exercida pelo jogador. O desenvolvimento dos três jogos ocorreu com o uso de um software de desenvolvimento de jogos. Para os testes envolveram-se 10 avaliadores divididos em fisioterapeutas e desenvolvedores. Os resultados foram analisados usando a escala SUS (System Usability Scale). Resultados: As respostas obtidas no questionário SUS apresentaram uma pontuação de 81 na avaliação dos fisioterapeutas e 81 na avaliação dos desenvolvedores de sistema. Ambos os valores classificam o sistema como excelente. Os jogos podem ser uma ferramenta muito útil e com grande potencial de utilização para treinamento e reabilitação do equilíbrio. Conclusão: O sistema desenvolvido pode trazer uma melhora significativa nos tratamentos, assim como auxiliar o terapeuta aumentando as possibilidades de técnicas aplicadas, atingindo uma maior permanência do paciente durante o tratamento.
