Os impactos da COVID-19 na saúde dos profissionais de enfermagem

Resumo
Objetivo: Realizar um levantamento na literatura sobre os impactos da COVID-19 na saúde dos profissionais de enfermagem. Revisão bibliográfica: A COVID-19 representou o mais importante problema mundial de saúde pública dos últimos 100 anos. Os profissionais de enfermagem estiveram na linha de frente da pandemia, presentes em toda a rede de atenção à saúde, vivenciando impactos em sua saúde. A pandemia revelou que as taxas de prevalência da depressão, ansiedade, e insónia dos profissionais de enfermagem aumentaram neste cenário. Diversas exigências marcaram o exercício profissional da enfermagem, tendo de lidar com dor, perda, sofrimento e morte. Esse sofrimento psíquico repercute na vida do profissional, no âmbito psicossocial e no bem-estar geral. Considerações finais: A pandemia da COVID-19 possibilitou refletir sobre o contexto trabalhista em que esses profissionais estão inseridos e atuando há vários anos. Condições que são prejudiciais para a saúde física, mental e social dos trabalhadores que foi agravada nesse período.
