Fatores preditivos associados ao êxito na cirurgia de varicocele para a infertilidade

Resumo

Objetivo: Identificar na literatura científica fatores preditivos associados ao êxito na cirurgia de varicocele para infertilidade. Métodos: Revisão integrativa, com artigos publicados entre 2019 a 2023, nos idiomas português, inglês e espanhol e texto completo disponível. Utilizou-se como questão norteadora: Quais são os fatores preditivos associados ao êxito na cirurgia de varicocele para a infertilidade? A pesquisa bibliográfica foi realizada em novembro de 2023 nas bases de dados: Pubmed, Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde, Scielo e Science Direct, por meio dos Descritores em Ciências da Saúde: Varicocele, Infertilidade, Inteligência Artificial e preditores, realizando combinações com os termos com o uso do operador booleano “AND”. Resultados: 27 artigos obedeceram aos critérios de inclusão e exclusão, nos quais 06 artigos na Science Direct, 14 na Pubmed, e 07 na Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde. Em relação ao  tipo de estudo, 9 foram coorte, 6 de revisão, 2 prospectivos, 3 retrospectivos, 2 ensaios clínicos, 3 de intervenção, 1 experimental e 2 observacionais. Considerações finais: Considera-se que alguns fatores podem ser preditores de êxito na cirurgia de varicocele. Entre eles estão parâmetros hormonais, presença de refluxo ao ultrassom, técnica cirúrgica e aspectos no espermograma pré-operatório, normogramas, aprendizagem de máquina e modelagem foram alguns métodos utilizados pelos autores.
