Tomografia Computadorizada na avaliação de hérnias incisionais

Resumo

Objetivo: Analisar, através de uma revisão bibliográfica, o uso da Tomografia Computadorizada (TC) na avaliação das hérnias incisionais (HIs).  Métodos: Trata-se de uma revisão integrativa, com busca realizada nas bases de dados PubMed e ScienceDirect e da busca manual em citações de revisões literárias. Foram incluídos artigos em inglês publicados entre 2019-2024 e estudos sobre o uso de TC para diagnóstico e planejamento cirúrgico de HIs, independentemente do ano. Após a aplicação dos critérios de inclusão e exclusão, 61 artigos foram selecionados dentre 902 registros iniciais. Revisão Bibliográfica: HIs resultam da fraqueza na parede abdominal suturada, causada por cicatrização inadequada ou sobrecarga mecânica, levando à protrusão abdominal. Associadas à alta morbidade e mortalidade, representam um problema de saúde pública e exigem intervenção cirúrgica. Embora o diagnóstico seja clínico, exames como TC ou ressonância magnética são recomendados para planejamento cirúrgico, especialmente em casos complexos. A TC é considerada o exame mais adequado devido à alta sensibilidade e resolução, permitindo visualização clara das estruturas abdominais e ajudando a prever os resultados cirúrgicos. Considerações finais: Imagens obtidas por TC são úteis no pré-operatório de HIs para personalizar abordagens cirúrgicas de acordo com a anatomia e comorbidades do paciente, especialmente por sua alta sensibilidade e especificidade.
