Tradução e adaptação transcultural de instrumento para mensurar autoridade e autonomia profissional de enfermeiros

Resumo
Objetivo: Realizar a adaptação transcultural da Nursing Authority And Autonomy Scale para o contexto do Brasil. Métodos: Estudo metodológico de tradução e adaptação transcultural que seguiu cinco etapas: tradução, síntese, tradução reversa, avaliação por comitê de especialistas e pré-teste. O Índice de Validade de Conteúdo de ≥0,75 e Coeficiente Kappa de Cohen >0,61 foram considerados adequados para a pesquisa. Resultados: A tradução da Nursing Authority And Autonomy Scale foi consistente e aprovada por comitê de especialistas com IVC ≥0,80 e Kappa ≥0,76. O pré-teste contou com a participação de 60 enfermeiros, sendo 30 assistenciais e 30 gerentes. A maioria dos enfermeiros eram mulheres jovens, com especialização. Os escores totais do pré-teste revelaram média de 152,13 para enfermeiros gerentes e de 140,83 para assistenciais, sendo 190 o escore máximo possível. Conclusão: A Nursing Authority And Autonomy Scale foi considerada traduzida e adaptada ao contexto brasileiro. Outros estudos devem avaliar as qualidades psicométricas deste instrumento.
