Pré-oxigenação na sequência rápida de intubação e o uso de ventilação não invasiva para prevenção da hipoxemia

Resumo

Objetivo: Avaliar a relação entre o risco de hipoxemia em pacientes submetidos à intubação orotraqueal pelo método de sequência rápida e o uso da pré - oxigenação com ventilação não invasiva como ferramenta de prevenção.  Métodos: Revisão bibliográfica integrativa, o qual utilizou a base de dados eletrônica PubMed Central (PMC). Os termos de pesquisas incluíram “Noninvasive Ventilation”, “Preoxygenation”, “Hypoxemia” no período de 2019 a 2024. Após a aplicação da estratégia de pesquisa, 594 artigos foram encontrados, e um total de 13 artigos foram selecionados para uma análise detalhada. Resultados: Os resultados evidenciaram melhores desfechos em pacientes adultos pré oxigenados com ventilação não invasiva submetidos à sequência rápida de intubação orotraqueal. Estudos comparativos sobre a implementação de novos dispositivos de ventilação associados, como o CNAF, COT e HFNC - no procedimento discutido - ainda se mostraram pouco conclusivos quanto a um incremento na melhora destes desfechos. Considerações finais: Evidencia-se a importância de individualizar a terapêutica para cada grupo de paciente, que deve ser realizado de acordo com as patologias e as comorbidades. Assim, será possível definir a ferramenta mais eficaz para prevenção da hipoxemia relacionada ao procedimento de intubação orotraqueal.
