Estresse e Burnout entre fisioterapeutas

Resumo
Objetivo: Sintetizar as informações atualizadas da literatura sobre estresse e Burnout entre fisioterapeutas. Revisão bibliográfica: O estresse é um fenômeno comum em ambientes de atenção à saúde e é frequentemente descrito como a reação do corpo a pressões e demandas externas. A síndrome de Burnout envolve exaustão emocional, despersonalização e uma menor realização pessoal. Esse esgotamento profissional entre os fisioterapeutas manifesta-se por um aumento da exaustão emocional e diminuição do sentimento de realização pessoal. Essa pesquisa concluiu que existem vários fatores que contribuem para o burnout e estresse em fisioterapeutas. Dentre esses fatores destacam-se a carga de trabalho, a restrição de recursos, os fatores sociodemográficos e a exaustão emocional. Considerações finais: Estratégias precoces de detecção e manejo destas condições precisam ser implementadas a fim de mitigar a fadiga e exaustão física e psicológica. A exposição do problema do estresse e síndrome de burnout em profissionais da fisioterapia proporciona compreensão em relação à necessidade de exploração pormenorizada dessa temática entre estes profissionais da saúde para reduzir custos com absenteísmo.
