Expressões psicopatológicas do transtorno depressivo maior e do transtorno afetivo bipolar

Resumo
Objetivo: Analisar as expressões psicopatológicas presentes nos episódios depressivos do transtorno depressivo maior (TDM) e do transtorno afetivo bipolar (TAB), com o intuito de identificar marcadores clínicos que favoreçam o diagnóstico diferencial entre os dois transtornos e discutir as implicações terapêuticas decorrentes de uma identificação diagnóstica precisa. Métodos: Este estudo é uma revisão bibliográfica integrativa, conduzida seguindo a estratégia PVO. Foram realizadas buscas na base de dados PubMed Central (PMC) usando termos específicos, resultando em 1.299 artigos. Após a aplicação dos critérios de inclusão – artigos dos últimos 5 anos relacionados ao tema – 11 artigos foram selecionados. Resultados: O diagnóstico diferencial entre transtorno depressivo maior e transtorno afetivo bipolar é fundamental para direcionar o tratamento correto. A escolha adequada de medicamentos e intervenções personalizadas melhora a eficácia terapêutica e previne recaídas. Avanços em biomarcadores e neuroimagem prometem aprimorar o diagnóstico e o manejo clínico, mas mais pesquisas são necessárias para otimizar protocolos e prognósticos. Considerações finais: São necessárias futuras investigações e contínua atualização dos profissionais para melhorar a qualidade de vida dos pacientes com transtorno depressivo maior e afetivo bipolar.
