Abstract

Objective: Report the clinical case of a patient with dental darkening, the treatment performed and case management. Case detailing: Female patient, 25 years old, attended the dental clinic, with the main complaint "my tooth darkened". In the history of the current disease, the patient reported tooth darkening 11, approximately one year after an endodontic canal, which was caused by trauma sustained in an accident about two years ago. In the intra-oral exam, it was observed, darkening in the cervical face of the mentioned tooth, the marginal ridges remained intact and the palatal face with restoration where the pulp chamber was accessed for endodontic treatment. The treatment plan was outlined, and the mediate walking bleaching technique was chosen. Final considerations: The technique chosen was after the diagnosis of the case, being a form of endogenous whitening and becoming a good alternative for color reversibility, being less invasive, conservative, fast, safe and inexpensive in the esthetic restoration of the tooth compared. the other more invasive whitening techniques.
