Abstract

Objective: This research aimed to investigate the relationship between familial environment detachment and health behaviors of health area senior undergraduates of a public university. The results were analyzed based on Person chi-squared test and Fischer exact test. Results: Undergraduates who were dislocated from familial environment showed negative significant associations related to the habit of alcohol intake; and positive associations related to sexual behavior and physical activity practices. Conclusion: It is concluded that the detachment of familial environment influences certain health behaviors of university undergraduates.
